Delete Your Account
Last updated: July 12, 2026.
You can request permanent deletion of your Kono account and all associated personal data at any time. Deletion is irreversible — once your account is deleted, your training history, workout data, and all other associated information cannot be recovered.
Option 1 — Delete from within the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the Kono app:
-
Open the Kono app Sign in if you are not already logged in.
-
Go to Help Tap your profile icon or navigate to Settings → Help.
-
Tap "Delete Account" Scroll to the bottom of the Help screen and tap the Delete Account button.
-
Confirm deletion Read the confirmation prompt and tap Delete to proceed. Your account and data will be deleted immediately.
Option 2 — Submit a Web Request
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion by emailing us. We will process your request within 30 days of receiving it.
Send an email to privacy@coachkono.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your Kono account. We will confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your account profile, including name, email address, and authentication credentials;
- All workout history and training plan data synced or created in Kono;
- Health and fitness data imported from connected platforms (Apple Health, Garmin Connect, Strava, and similar sources);
- Your profile photo and any other content you uploaded; and
- Device identifiers and analytics data associated with your account.
We may retain certain information where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements — for example, transaction records if fees are ever introduced, or records necessary for fraud prevention. Any such retained data is held for the minimum period required and then deleted. De-identified or aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely.
Connected Platform Access
Deleting your Kono account also disconnects any linked fitness platforms. However, it does not revoke authorizations granted directly to those platforms. If you connected Garmin Connect or Strava, you should also revoke Kono's access from within those platforms' account settings to prevent any future re-authorization.
